Travel Times from Sydney Airport to University of Sydney do Vary

Being such a large and densely populated city, Sydney is affected by peak hour traffic. This traffic can have a significant effect on your travel times, so it is worth taking that into account. We estimate that, during peak periods, your trip from Sydney airport to Sydney University will take 16-40 minutes. From Sydney University to the airport, it should take 14-35 minutes. When conditions are quieter, we predict a journey of 14-35 minutes travelling in either direction.

Sydney Airport Has a Range of Pick up and Drop off Options

Sydney airport includes three terminals: two domestic and one international. Getting picked up at the international terminal is easiest at the express pick up section, which is in the P9 car park. There, you will find fifteen minutes of free parking, although longer stays will incur a fee. For the domestic terminals, you have three options, as well as the conventional kerbside drop off and pick up spaces on the departures and arrivals levels. The first option is blue emu, which is a short shuttle ride from the terminals. The second is express parking, which is about 8 minutes from the terminal on foot.
