Adelaide airport – what you need to know

Adelaide Airport has only one passenger terminal for both domestic and international flights. Although it isn’t a big airport, it tons to offer. There are multiple retail stores for adults such as Seed or Ripcurl, or entertainment shops for kids such as Lego Kaboom.

As well as shopping, Adelaide Airport offers a vast range of restaurants, cafes, and quick bite shops to satisfy your needs. If you land in the morning, you can be sure to find some great, top-quality roasted coffee and pastries, and if you land later in the day or the evening, there are larger meals on offer.

Adelaide Airport also offers different types of parking, as well as quick pickup and drop off areas. There is the undercover multi-level Terminal Car Park which is the closest to the terminal; the outdoor Long Term Car Park which requires a 10-minute walk or five-minute bus drive to the terminal, and pickup and drop off zones located at the entry point of the airport on Sir Richard Williams Avenue.

On the other hand, if you’re just transiting, you can find airport lounges for Qantas, Virgin, and REX as well as the Atura Hotel for longer transits.

Murray Bridge

Murray Bridge sits on the banks of the Murray River, located only 74 kilometres southeast of Adelaide. It’s a little town full of life.
As well as mainly being an agriculture farming area for dairy, cereal crops, and vegetables, Murray Bridge is the perfect town for water activities such as wakeboarding, water-skiing, fishing, and boating.

If you’re travelling as a couple, you have to stay at The Cube: a rustic little floating home on the river where you can sit on the deck and watch the boats go by. There’s also a fire pit to keep you warm—talk about romantic!

If you’re travelling with your family, be sure to visit Montaro Safari Park—the largest open-range sanctuary in Australia, protecting endangered species from all over the world. If it’s a warm summer day, you can take your kids to the Murray Bridge Swimming Centre and Water Park for a day of water slides and pools.
