If you’re flying in to Adelaide to see an event at Adelaide Oval, then you need transport that will get you there on time. Adelaide Oval is about 7km from Adelaide Airport, but your trip will take you through some of the busiest areas of Adelaide. If you rely on public transport, then you run the risk of delay with frequent stops and the potential for services to be late. If you choose taxis during a busy period, you could also find yourself stuck at the back of the line with a hefty wait standing in between you and the first over at the Oval. That’s why we recommend a private transfer with Car Australia. Our services are tailored to your needs, which means you don’t need to worry about lengthy delays. Instead, you can step from the air conditioned comfort of Adelaide Airport, straight into the luxury of a Car Australia limousine. From there, it’s smooth travel to the doorstep of your destination at Adelaide Oval.

Travel times

Travel times from Adelaide Airport to Adelaide Oval depend on the time of day. If you fly into Adelaide Airport during peak hour, then you can expect to hit the roads along with tens of thousands of other commuters. Needless to say, that can delay your trip a little; peak hour travel times are usually close to 30 minutes. However, if you fly in late at night, or early in the morning, then you can expect a far quicker journey – sometimes as few as 16 minutes. To account for both options, we generally allow for average travel times of 22 minutes or so. But it’s important to remember that events at the Adelaide Oval can come with traffic conditions of their own! We would recommend leaving plenty of time between touchdown and kick off!

Adelaide Airport – rounding off the journey

You’ll find all the major carriers there, including Qantas, Virgin, and Jetstar, as well as a host of international carriers. Outside the terminal, you have nearby accommodation options in the Atura Hotel, which has a direct walkway to connect it to the terminal. If you find yourself with time to kill, you can enjoy one of the many dining options, or browse through some of the retail outlets that occupy the terminal. Whichever you choose, you can rest assured that you will be there on time, thanks to our door to door service guarantee.
